Ausar Auset Society International is a pan-African spiritual organization founded in 1974 by Ra Un Nefer Amen I. It has grown from its initial headquarters in
Brooklyn NY to communities in the following locations: Washington DC; Chicago IL; Milwaukee, WI; Philadelphia, PA; Oakland, CA; Charlotte, NC; Atlanta, GA; New Orleans, LA; Denver, CO; Lexington, KY; Bermuda, WI; Trinidad, WI; and London UK. At the core of the Ausar Auset cosmology is the belief that human beings are divine entities with the ability to access the spiritual powers/attributes of God(dess) in quality though not in quantity. Consistent with traditional African spiritual systems, there is the recognition in Ausar Auset that the Supreme Being or One God comes in a multiplicity of forms or expressions. The concept that uniquely illustrates this in the Ausarian religion is the Kamitic (Ancient Egyptian) Tree of Life, which delineates the 11 aspects of God and the 11 spiritual laws that govern the spirit. The Ausar Auset system of spiritual development utilizes tools such as meditation, yoga, healthy dietary practices, and qi gong to cultivate or bring out the divinely endowed wisdom, peace, and power within one’s spirit in order to successfully meet the challenges encountered in life and eventually actualize one’s divinity.
